I enjoy the off leash park here as it's close to my home and has long grass for my dogs to run in and during the summer they can jump in the lake. People are very friendly as well. The only cons are that it's very small and its a hit or miss with running into more dogs. Most of the time it's just me and my dogs alone.
Was there for water day. Was a very fun day. Lots of venders, and food trucks. Water sports were a little harder to follow for a newbie. But overall an enjoyable day.
Decent view of the lake. Great place for picnics (several places extremely close that offer takeout, as well). Relatively quiet - never a shortage of parking and I've been here probably a dozen times (although half of that in the winter months) and have never seen anyone else use the gazebo area. Access to the lake for paddle boarding and such, as well as a boat launch at one end of the park.
Decent park but it was full of Albertans so I give it a 4/5
Great view of the lake with lots of parking. Plus a number of eateries nearby. Come with your wife, better half, families and enjoy your time. If it's windy make sure you've proper clothing. It can easily turn from warm to chilly. A number of take out places nearby.
